1. A booking will only be confirmed in writing
upon receipt of the booking fee (normally 25% of the total
fee) for the hire of Sounds Sensational for the event. This is
non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, unless the
cancellation is made by Sounds Sensational.
2. Cancellation's will be accepted, but must be
in writing at least 30 days before the event. If the booking
is cancelled for any reason within 30 days, but more than 14
days 50% of the total fee will be payable by the
representative making/cancelling the booking. However if a
booking is cancelled in less than 14 days of the event, the
total fee will be payable by the representative
making/cancelling the booking.
3. In the event of any damage to Sounds
Sensational equipment (lighting/sound and music equipment)
this does exclude normal wear and tear. The representative who
made the booking will be responsible for the damage, even if
caused by anyone in attendance at the event. This applies to
the contracted time period including setting up time and after
the event packing away time. The representative will be
responsible for full repair costs; this would not apply if
there was any negligance on our part. The representative will
be informed of any damage as soon as it is possible. |

4. The company does not tolerate any violent,
aggressive or abusive behaviour from anyone. We reserve the
right to terminate our services at any time should we feel our
personal safety or the safety of our equipment is under
threat. If this occurs, no refund of any fees will be given
and we reserve the right to claim damages against any person's
in addition to point 3.
5. If a booking has been confirmed and the
company attends the function to find another service provider
has been booked by you, the promoter's or any other persons
then the full fee shall be payable as per the agreement.
6. The company will ensure that all equipment
used will have been tested for electrical safety. The company
is not responsible for any damage caused to the room or
building where the services are provided and is not
responsible for any power outages.
7. Sounds Sensational agree to conduct
themselves in a respectable and sober manner. We will respond
to any reasonable requests made by the representative. This is
in regard to use of PA equipment, the location and any other
matters to make the event enjoyable.
8. It is the responsibility of the
representative to ensure adequate access and availability to
set up (normally 2 hours prior to the event) and packing away
after the event has finished (normally approx 1 hour) If the
venue is not accessible early enough or any delay occurs to
the performance start time or any other reason beyond Sounds
Sensational control, no liability will be accepted and no
refund will be given. |

9. Any payment to the company will be agreed at
the time of when booking is confirmed for the applicable
appearance times. If any changes are required that are
additional to the original booking i.e. increasing
time/decreasing time will result in the change to price and
must be agreed by both parties in writing. (Note: After
booking has been confirmed we generally like to visit the
venue with the representative to discuss layout, setup etc,
this will normally be approx 3 months before the event is due
to take place. This will be arranged with the representative
to accommodate both parties.) Any changes that need to made
can be discussed then. On the day of the event, if extra
playing time is requested by the representative on the night,
a charge of £25.00 per half hour charge will be applicable,
this is to be paid in cash before any extended playing begins.
10. Balance due should be paid in full at least
14 days before the event is due to take place, any payments
paid less than 14 days must be in cash. Sounds Sensational
reserve the right to not render any services until the balance
is paid in full.
11. A PPL licence is required if people
attending your event are being charged an entry fee, this
therefore means that any private party i.e wedding reception
or birthday party etc does not require a licence. In the event
of a licence being required, it is the responsibility of the
event organiser to obtain the relevant licence, at least 31
days prior to the event. Sounds Sensational will need to see
the licence before any performance can commence. If the
licence is unobtainable and the event has to be cancelled,
please refer to section 2 above. |

12. The company, at their discretion, reserves
the right to discontinue all or part of equipment usage if the
power provided is not capable of operating the equipment
without risk of damage to the equipment, company or the
public, or if the working environment constitutes a health and
safety risk. If applicable, the customer agrees to furnish a
facility that completely covers the Company's equipment from
direct sunlight and rain. If service must be discontinued for
any of the aforementioned reasons, no refunds will be awarded.
13. In the event that Sounds Sensational are
unable to attend your function, Sounds Sensational will source
a suitable replacement, with Sounds Sensational covering any
additional costs. If in the unlikely event Sounds Sensational
are unable to source another company , then all fees paid will
be refunded, including the 25% deposit to the person who
booked our services. In this event no further compensation
will be paid or can be claimed against Sounds Sensational.
14. If the services that Sounds Sensational
supply cannot be fulfilled due to mechanical failure, refunds
will be limited to the amount paid for this service and no
further compensations can be claimed. |

15. Consultations will be carried out free
within a 20 mile radius of the NN15 postcode area. If
travelling is not within the 20 mile radius of NN15 then a
small charge may be required to cover expenses.
16. From time to time we may take photographs
at an event, or film using a video camera these may be
published for promotional reasons, for example promotion of
the website. Any copyright will be held by Sounds Sensational
and on occasions we may use people’s faces, to enable us to do
this under the Data protection Act we will ask for permission
before using or taking the photographs or filming an event.
17.
The company operates a complaints procedure. Complaints should
be made in writing to

Seagrave, Kettering, Northants. NN15 6TU. Quoting the unique
number from the confirmation on your booking form.
